Old camcorders, VCRs, televisions, desktop computers, stereos — even electric guitars and amplifiers — are welcome at the Green Living Show.
Samsung Electronics Canada is collecting e-waste in giant bins at the entrance to the show in the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, during the show’s run from April 23 to 25.
In exchange for your electronic garbage, you will get free admission ($12 for adults, $9 for students). Samsung is a presenting sponsor of the show.
Ron Hulse, chief convergence officer and vice-president of sales for Samsung, plans to scour his basement for obsolete communications and entertainment items.
